We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager - Data Scientist

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain QlikSense dashboards and deliver actionable analytics for stakeholders.
• Write, optimise, and troubleshoot SQL queries on BigQuery to support performant reporting and analysis.
• Rapidly develop prototypes/POCs to validate ideas and accelerate analytics delivery.
• Design and support data workflows; collaborate on data pipeline architecture and propose improvements.
• Drive automation of reporting and analytics processes using an engineering mindset and modular coding practices.
• Implement data governance and quality controls (validation checks, standards compliance, data integrity remediation).
• Act as first responder for analytics issues—diagnose problems independently and provide consulting-style support with strong prioritisation.
• Use Python for exploratory analysis and build small-scale ML models, applying ethical AI practices.
• Technical stack: GCP ecosystem (BigQuery, DataProc, Dataflow, Data Fusion, Dataplex, Vertex AI), plus Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and ML/NLP methods (NLP, time series, supervised/unsupervised/RL).
• Optional/nice-to-have capabilities: Generative AI (RAG, LLMs, prompt engineering, evaluation), vector databases (FAISS/Pinecone/Weaviate), and agentic AI tools (LangChain/LangGraph/LlamaIndex), supported by strong collaboration, resilience, flexibility, and communication skills.

To be successful you will:

• 3+  years of experience in data analytics, BI, and Advanced Analytics and ML.
• Strong expertise in Qlik Sense and advanced SQL/Big Query skills
• Experience in data governance and data quality frameworks
• Proven track record in automation and performance optimization
• Experience in Generative AI/LLM development and machine learning
