Key Responsibilities Partner with Product Managers to understand product goals, user behaviour, business priorities, and decision-making needs, and translate them into clear KPIs, success metrics, and measurement strategies before development begins.
Analyse funnels, cohorts, retention, churn, engagement, feature adoption, conversion, revenue, LTV, and user journeys to identify behavioural changes, product drop-offs, growth opportunities, and emerging risks.
Proactively investigate unexpected metric movements, validate findings across multiple data sources, perform root-cause analysis, support launch monitoring, and provide clear evidence-based recommendations.
Own and maintain product measurement requirements, including event taxonomies, event names, parameters, user properties, conversions, tracking plans, and metric definitions across mobile and web products.
Work closely with Engineering to support instrumentation implementation, resolve tracking questions, validate analytics in staging and after release, and identify missing, duplicated, inaccurate, or poorly defined events.
Build and improve reusable dashboards, automated workflows, and self-service analytics so Product Managers can independently answer routine questions while the analyst focuses on deeper investigations.
Use SQL and raw event-level data in BigQuery or similar data warehouses to analyse product performance, reconcile platform reporting, identify data-quality issues, and validate analytical findings.
Support experiment design, instrumentation, data validation, and interpretation of A/B test results, and recommend experiments when user behaviour indicates an opportunity worth testing.
Partner with Marketing and Growth teams on acquisition, onboarding, conversion, attribution, campaign quality, CAC, ROAS, and user-value analysis, while ensuring source, medium, campaign, and UTM data are captured consistently.
Work with the Data Lead and AI Automation team to improve internal analytics tooling, evaluate new AI and analytics solutions, and establish robust validation processes that ensure AI generated analysis is accurate, reliable, and trusted before it informs product decisions.
When something unexpected happens in the data, you investigate it, build confidence in the findings and bring the Product Manager evidence together with your recommendation.

3–4 years of experience in product analytics, app analytics, growth analytics, or data analytics.
Strong hands-on experience with Amplitude or Mixpanel, including funnel, retention, cohort, segmentation, and dashboard analysis.
Strong understanding of GA4 and familiarity with Firebase Analytics.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with BigQuery or another cloud data warehouse.
Experience analysing raw event-level data and reconciling it with analytics-platform reporting.
Experience designing event taxonomies, tracking plans, instrumentation schemas, and measurement frameworks.
Strong understanding of product metrics, including activation, conversion, retention, churn, engagement, revenue, LTV, CAC, and ROAS.
Working knowledge of experimentation, A/B testing, attribution models, UTM tracking, and mobile measurement limitations.
Experience building dashboards, automated reporting, or self-service analytics workflows.
Ability to use AI and LLM-based tools responsibly while validating outputs independently.
Strong analytical thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and data storytelling skills.
