JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer (Python, ReactJS)
PURPOSE
To design, develop, and maintain scalable web-based applications using Python and modern frontend technologies. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions across the full application stack, developing RESTful services, managing databases, and contributing to robust, secure, and maintainable applications. The ideal candidate is analytical, adaptable, and eager to learn emerging technologies to support evolving business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using Python 3.x and frameworks such as Flask and Django.
* Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using ReactJS, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS.
* Build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
* Design, write, and optimize SQL Server database queries, stored procedures, and data models.
* Utilize NumPy and pandas for data processing, manipulation, and business logic implementation where applicable.
* Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
* Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices to maintain code quality and security.
* Support application deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting across development, testing, and production environments.
* Work with Azure environments, Docker containers, and Linux-based systems where required.
* Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and development practices to improve productivity and solution quality.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Python and web application development.
* Strong proficiency in Python 3.x.
* Experience with Flask and Django frameworks.
* Solid experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS.
* Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
* Good working knowledge of SQL Server, database design, query optimization, and data management.
* Experience using NumPy and pandas for data processing.
* Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies based on business and project requirements.
NICE TO HAVE
* Experience with Microsoft Azure services and Azure Virtual Machines.
* Familiarity with Angular framework.
* Basic knowledge of Linux Bash scripting.
* Experience working with Docker containers.
* Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering practices.
* Experience with low-code/no-code platforms such as **n8n**, **Node-RED**, or **Superblocks**.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
