Job Summary
We are looking for a technically sharp and innovation-driven Senior SDET who thrives in a fast-paced, agile development environment. The ideal candidate is someone who not only executes test automation with precision but also brings creative thinking, builds POCs (Proofs of Concept), and continuously pushes boundaries to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness. As a Senior SDET, you will take complete ownership of quality initiatives, drive innovation in test design, and mentor others to elevate the overall engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quickly onboard and contribute to Agile sprints through both manual and automated testing.
Independently drive POCs for new tools, frameworks, AI-driven testing solutions, and innovative approaches; evaluate their impact on quality and efficiency.
Apply creative and AI-assisted testing techniques (e.g., intelligent test generation, anomaly detection) to uncover edge cases and ensure high-quality user experiences.
Design and develop robust, maintainable, and scalable test automation frameworks using Python (PyTest, Selenium).
Understand complex customer workflows and validate solutions accordingly.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and maintain testing infrastructure.
Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating emerging technologies and integrating best practices into the QA process.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and mentor other QA engineers on innovative testing strategies and automation skills.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
5–8 years of hands-on experience as an SDET, preferably in product-based companies.
Proven experience in designing POCs and driving innovative QA solutions.
Strong coding skills in Python, Selenium, Webdriver and experience with PyTest, Jmeter
Hands-on experience in UI and API automation for web-based applications.
Solid understanding of testing methodologies (manual and automation).
Experience writing and maintaining detailed test plans, cases, and documentation.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools and integrating test automation into pipelines.
Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, and IDEs like PyCharm.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional and Agile teams.
Performance/Benchmark testing experience is an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
Experience in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain.
Passion for innovation, automation at scale, and continuous quality improvement.
