This role is accountable for leading FRMC engagement across complex, high-impact global finance transformation initiatives, providing early-stage risk insight and big-picture shaping, and ensuring that material finance risk and governance considerations are embedded from conception through go-live and post-qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with assigned finance process owners and process towers to assess key risks and prioritise control improvements aligned to the team’s top‑ten risk questions.
Manage and mentor a small team of Risk Managers; allocate resources, review deliverables and ensure consistent risk standards across workstreams.
Support early-stage conception, brainstorming, and solution shaping, providing big-picture risk insight to help convert concepts into viable, fundable initiatives.
Provide strategic risk insights and guidance on global process change, ensuring appropriate control intent and governance considerations are embedded into programme design and scope, and influencing early decision-making on delivery approach, resourcing, and benefits.
Maintain a strong risk focus across programmes, ensuring key finance risks are identified, prioritised, and appropriately addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee FRMC involvement through implementation, go-live, and post-qualification, ensuring risk readiness and appropriate escalation of material issues.
Act as a coordination (“glue”) role across FRMC teams, ensuring aligned risk messaging, clear hand-offs, and consistent engagement with stakeholders.
Engage with senior business and programme leads to understand the transformation pipeline and shape FRMC demand and prioritisation.
Provide risk guidance, deliver training and produce communications for stakeholders and process owners; act as FRMC SPOC for assigned projects.
Enable the adoption of digital capabilities across risk and control activities within transformation initiatives, guiding the application of data, automation, and tools.
Why You?
Basic Qualification:
12–15+ years of proven experience in financial risk management, controls, and change management.
Proven experience in project/program management, ideally with exposure to global initiatives, including implementing or enabling digital capabilities, automation, and data-driven risk insights.
Deep familiarity with finance processes, risk frameworks (RACMs, SOX/regulatory), governance, and controls, with an understanding of how digital tools and analytics can enhance risk management and compliance effectiveness.
Professional finance qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA).
Working model
This role is hybrid. You will be expected to work from our Poland office regularly and be available for in-person collaboration.
