Hiring: Electrical Planner | Oil & Gas / Petrochemical
Location: Ras Laffan / Doha HQ, Qatar (Onshore)
Contract Duration: Initial 2 Years (Potential Extension)
Work Schedule: 8–10 Hours per Day, Sunday to Thursday
Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF (Single Status)

Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Planner to provide maintenance planning services to the Asset Maintenance Team, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for maintenance activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving the reliability and operational performance of onshore facilities through efficient maintenance planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure maintenance planning activities align with company KPIs and operational objectives.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work and process work orders for electrical maintenance activities.
  • Plan and allocate required resources including manpower, materials, tools, equipment, contracts, procurement, and logistics support.
  • Review new maintenance notifications daily and support realistic TFUC (Time Frame Under Consideration) and LACD (Latest Acceptable Completion Date) requirements.
  • Identify duplicate work orders and support amendment and cancellation processes where required.
  • Verify all associated costs are captured in work orders before management approval.
  • Raise MDG requests for missing or incorrect SAP Bill of Materials (BOM) data.
  • Prepare Material Return to Stock (MRS) documentation for surplus and unused materials.
  • Ensure maintenance plans comply with company standards and procedures.
  • Facilitate monthly Preventive Maintenance (PM) reviews and prepare PM plans 12 weeks ahead of schedule.
  • Maintain and update SAP PM task lists for routine and repetitive maintenance activities.
  • Support Work Order close-out activities and Technical Completion (TECO) processes.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering.
✔ Minimum 7 years of maintenance planning/scheduling experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
✔ Minimum 3 years of experience in a dedicated Planning and/or Scheduling role.
✔ Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP PM.
✔ Experience in maintenance work management, preventive maintenance planning, and resource coordination.
✔ Proficient in written and spoken English.
✔ Strong computer literacy and familiarity with industry-standard maintenance management systems.
