We are looking for an Fluid and Cement Supervisorfor one of our clients with the following details:
Start Date: August 2026
Duration: 12 months
Location: Offshore Al Khalij, Qatar
Work status: Rotational (28 days ON – 28 days OFF), Single
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Education: B.Sc. in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Professional experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Technical competencies: Chemistry, cementing and drilling mud competencies.
- Behavioural competencies: Ability to work under pressure and stressing conditions, team leader player, proactive, bold, creative and able to work in a multicultural environment, cross functional capabilities.
- Other competencies: Fluent in English, knowledge of French language is an asset.
ACTIVITIES
- Knowledge of Company HSE policy, rules and procedures (HSE MS) and in particular ISO14001 standard.
- Observance of the company HSE policy, rules and procedures.
- Participation to HSE activities and global improvement (e.g. referential, reporting, REX, audits, Maestro, trainings, HSE action plans
- Full attention to be given to the daily operational activities at the rig, responsible for, and to ensure availability of all products, equipment, and personnel in a timely manner for fluids & Cement support of the drilling operations.
- Optimize Drilling Fluids & cement job / Manage consumption & operations.
- Minimize F&C NPT: operations anticipations, logistic, supervision.
- Ensure all Company rules and Guidelines for fluids and cement are followed (safety stock)
- Conduct and review Fluids and cement related programs.
- Ensure no shortage of chemicals Vs prognosed – Managed inventory.
- Be involved in planning and all logistics relative to the operations.
- Ensure Safety and Security of Personnel and Installation are applied.
- Supervise execution of plans, programs, and operations. Perform Technical and Operational feed backs and analysis.
- Follow up, analyze, and validate data and reporting of well operations
- Follow up mud and cement operations on site.
- Analyse risks, anticipate potential issues, propose alternatives
- Control service ‘providers’ performance for safety and efficiency.
- Follow up and control costs of operations within budget and procedures.
- Support DRW offshore team effort to have no FAT, no LTI, no blowout, no major spill.
- Conduct & drive the development of QHSE performance plan for DRW.
- Relay and promote Offshore DRW Safety campaigns and initiatives (Stop cards, Perfect days, awareness campaign)
- F&C contractor services to embrace our safety culture (Our Life First program/Golden Rule).
- Lead Co-site & safety meeting preparation.
- Get involved in SIMOPS visit & follow up.
- Mandatory safety training and medicals: HSE (CR EP FP 250) / EP Ethics & compliance @ 100%
