About the job Payroll / Compensation Coordinator (10 months Contract - Renewable)

Job Purpose: Provide support in the preparation and enhancement of compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain qualified employees at competitive and cost-effective levels. Support the administration of salaries and wages in accordance with human resources policies and procedures.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee payroll processing and the disbursement of monthly salaries and wages, including allowances, benefits, promotions, transfers, contract changes, secondments, and related adjustments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payroll management.
  • Review additional employee-related expenses to ensure compliance with personnel policies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate compensation data through market research on salaries, benefits, and allowances, including analysis of trends in compensation methodologies.
  • Review and update wage, salary, and HR policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness, alignment, and approval. Respond to employee inquiries regarding the interpretation of HR and compensation policies to enhance HR service delivery and meet employee needs.
  • Review management reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including payroll summaries, working hours, leave entitlements, deductions, and related records.
  • Review employee end-of-service settlement calculations and related documentation.
  • Prepare the annual salary and wage budget.
  • Supervise and coordinate employee promotion processes.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Knowledge and Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.

Skills:


  • Strong report preparation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and unambiguous job descriptions and documentation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Employment type: Outsource/Full-time
  • Contract Duration: 10 months (Renewable)
  • Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID
  • Must be available to join immediate with short notice period.
