We are seeking an experienced CORTEX Operations Specialist to support, monitor, and manage CORTEX application operations within a banking environment.
The role is responsible for ensuring system availability, operational stability, incident resolution, and effective coordination with technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities Manage and support day-to-day CORTEX operations within the banking environment.
Monitor CORTEX applications, services, interfaces, and batch processing.
Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Handle application alerts, failures, and operational issues within agreed SLAs.
Coordinate with infrastructure, database, middleware, network, and application teams.
Support deployment, release, patching, and production change activities.
Perform health checks and ensure high availability and system performance.
Manage incident, problem, and change requests using ITSM tools.
Prepare operational reports, incident analysis, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with banking security policies, operational controls, and audit requirements.
Participate in on-call and production support activities when required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in CORTEX Operations, Application Support, or Production Support.
Strong hands-on experience with CORTEX systems/applications.
Previous experience in banking or financial services is required.
Strong knowledge of production operations, incident management, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Linux/Unix, SQL, databases, and application monitoring tools.
Understanding of batch processing, system interfaces, APIs, and application integrations.
Familiarity with ITIL processes, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a high-availability and critical banking production environment.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ITIL certification is preferred.
Experience supporting mission-critical banking applications and 24/7 production environments.
