Job description

We are looking for an experienced Instrument Engineer to join our team for industrial and EPC projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, calibration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Execute instrumentation and control activities in accordance with approved engineering drawings and project specifications.
  • Supervise installation, calibration, loop checking, testing, and commissioning of field instruments.
  • Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
  • Review P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare inspection reports, testing records, commissioning documents, and daily progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, QA/QC standards, and client requirements.
  • Support shutdown, turnaround, and maintenance activities when required.
  • Monitor site activities, manpower productivity, and workmanship quality.

RequirementsRequired Skills
  • Installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
  • Hands-on experience with pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
  • Knowledge of control valves, analyzers, gauges, switches, and field instruments.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, cable schedules, and engineering drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards and quality procedures.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power Plant, or Industrial Construction projects.
  • Experience in EPC projects and plant commissioning is highly preferred.
  • GCC experience will be an added advantage.
