The QC Electrical Engineer will represent the Project Management Consultant (PMC) in ensuring that all electrical works for the airport project comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role focuses on inspection, testing, and quality assurance of electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor electrical construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Review contractor submittals including method statements, material approvals, shop drawings, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
  • Conduct site inspections for electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, grounding, and cabling.
  • Ensure all electrical materials and equipment meet project specifications and approved standards.
  • Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems and verify compliance with project requirements.
  • Raise, track, and close non-conformance reports (NCRs) with appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and test reports.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and airport-specific electrical and safety regulations.
  • Prepare periodic quality reports highlighting issues, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Director or line manager.



Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in QA/QC for electrical works in large-scale infrastructure or airport projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and grounding systems.
  • Familiarity with international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NFPA) and quality management systems (ISO 9001).
  • Experience in reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Ability to identify and resolve quality issues efficiently in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
