Job DescriptionOverview

The Road Engineer supervises and manages road construction activities including earthworks, pavement layers, drainage, utilities, and traffic diversions. Ensures compliance with specifications and quality standards.


Your role
  • Supervise daily road construction works: excavation, subgrade, GSB, sub-base, asphalt.
  • Review drawings and ensure correct site implementation.
  • Coordinate activities with survey, QA/QC, and safety teams.
  • Monitor material quality, equipment usage, and production rates.
  • Report daily progress and highlight technical issues.
  • Assist with traffic management and temporary diversions.
  • Ensure compliance with AASHTO, ASTM, and project standards.
About you
  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
  • 5–10 years’ road construction supervision experience.
  • Strong understanding of pavement materials, grading, and compaction standards.
  • Familiarity with surveying and drainage installation.
