Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong technical background in mechanical design engineering and advanced calculation capabilities across all building mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing, reviewing, and validating engineering calculations, ensuring compliance with international standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and engineering development of mechanical systems for large-scale building projects.
• Prepare, review, and verify design calculations for:
• Plumbing Systems (Domestic Water, Hot Water, Drainage, Stormwater)
• Fire Fighting Systems
• HVAC Systems
• Chilled Water Networks
• Pumping Systems
• Water Storage and Distribution Systems
• Perform advanced hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pump head calculations, pressure loss analysis, and system optimization.
• Develop and review water demand calculations, fixture unit analysis, storage tank sizing, booster pump selection, and pressure zoning strategies.
• Conduct drainage and stormwater network calculations in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.
• Review equipment selections and technical submittals to ensure compliance with design criteria and performance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and codes including ASHRAE, IPC, UPC, NFPA, SBC, BS EN, and local authority requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical, ELV, architectural, structural, and BIM teams during design development and project execution stages.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
• Support value engineering initiatives and propose technically optimized solutions.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
