Role Summary:



Raytheon Technologies is looking for a Supply Chain intern to join our Supply Chain team at Riyadh office. The Intern will be involved in a wide variety of engagements that will work closely with our function partners and leadership. This role is designed to offer hands-on exposure to material planning, supplier data coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. You will gain experience working in a global environment, develop foundational skills in supply chain operations, and contribute to strategic projects related to aerospace and defense supply chains.




What You Will Do:



The role is created for Supply Chain studies students with an interest in gaining experience in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment for a short period of time. Each student will be expected to use their own initiative and undertake self-directed learning within a supportive environment to work with the team to develop goals and objectives to further common areas of interest. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Support in evaluating supplier capabilities, drive supplier development plan and track effectiveness.



  • Assist in analyzing supplier base data, identifying market trends and business needs utilizing data analysis and reporting tools



  •  Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, quality and project teams to enhance supplier engagement.



  • Assist in supplier meetings, tracking action plans, and ensuring timely follow-ups on development initiatives.



  • Support in assessing supplier risks and helping to develop mitigation strategies.




What You Will Learn:



 First Month:




  • The intern will develop communication skills by participating in team meetings, taking notes, and interacting with cross-functional stakeholders. This includes exposure to written and verbal communication used in global supply chain environments.



  • Understand the basics of material planning, demand management, and supplier data tracking. Shadow senior staff during Tier I meetings and supplier status reviews to learn about day-to-day issue resolution.




Second Month:



  • The intern will assist in updating the regional supplier database and learn how to extract key performance indicators (KPIs) from existing dashboards.



  • The intern will learn how to identify material bottlenecks or at-risk items and assist in preparing risk summaries for internal meetings.



  • The intern will receive hands-on experience working with Power BI or Excel-based dashboards to present supply chain data in a visually compelling way.



Third Month:



  • The intern will be assigned a small project (e.g., mapping material readiness vs. program milestones) to apply what they have learned and contribute tangible outcomes to the team.




Qualifications You Must Have :



The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:



  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an emphasis in supply chain, engineering, business administration or a related field.



  • Student GPA should be (3+ out of 4) or (4+ out of 5).



  • An official university letter is required to be attached along with the CV.



  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across diverse organizations and teams.



  • Proficient in Arabic and English (both written and oral); must be able to communicate effectively.
