Job description

The ideal candidate brings a wealth of expertise in project management, networking, software, systems, and data center delivery. You will work across software, networking, and infrastructure domains to manage the lifecycle — from planning and forecasting to provisioning and deployment—across our data centers ensuring that our data center infrastructure meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Your ability to anticipate and mitigate risks to data center delivery will be crucial in maintaining project timelines. This is a high-impact role that will lead, drive, and ensure the successful delivery of critical data center infrastructure builds in our roadmap. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability, autonomy, and will require effective engagement across various stakeholders (both internal and external) up to Senior Vice President level.

As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of multiple data center infrastructure projects concurrently across different business units.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Partner with various software teams to build tools and services that increase the efficiency of data center delivery
  • Drive Operational Excellence, create and maintain systems with robust observability, alerting, automated failure recovery, and clear runbooks. Participate in post-mortems and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Design and implement automation pipelines that orchestrate the entire lifecycle of network capacity delivery — from request intake and validation to hardware provisioning, configuration, and verification.
