The Light Auto Supervisor provides day to day hands-on supervision of the workshop to guarantee sufficient, clean, safe and defect-free light vehicles are available for service in line with the Company policies, regulatory standards and statutory guidelines, deadlines, and requirements.
Maximize the utilization and availability of company-owned light vehicles to support operational requirements.
Supervise and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for light vehicles to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
Coordinate and oversee repair and servicing activities for gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles and automotive equipment.
Assign and supervise workshop tasks, including major and minor mechanical repairs and engine diagnostics.
Monitor workshop productivity and ensure technical efficiency to achieve operational targets and timely vehicle servicing.
Coordinate with workshop staff and mechanics to ensure smooth workflow and effective completion of maintenance activities.
Monitor vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and operational performance to ensure efficient fleet management.
Support the implementation of HSE policies and participate in safety inspections, incident reporting, and corrective actions in line with company and IMS requirements.
Understanding of light vehicle maintenance procedures, including engine diagnostics, brake repair, fluid checks, and electrical systems, to oversee maintenance operations effectively.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with light vehicles, such as cars, vans, and light trucks, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and safety requirements governing the operation and maintenance of light vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Leadership and supervisory skills to oversee a team of mechanics, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, conveying information clearly, addressing concerns, and coordinating maintenance activities to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
