Responsibilities:
  • Function as Mechanical Project Engineer on assigned projects and coordinate / facilitate with other discipline engineers, designers, and contractor personnel to deliver all required aspects of service to meet the requirement
  • Execute assigned work in accordance with the Project Execution Plan, applicable Project Procedures and Standards, including Wood and / or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within cost budgets and in accordance with project schedule targets
  • Carry out coordination, acting as point of contact with design team, contractors, owner, suppliers, and related project personnel.
  • Prepare the procurement strategies and participate in the procurement processes to obtain the most appropriated suppliers to provide their materials and services, including bidder list review, technical clarification, and technical bid evaluation.
  • Manage the project execution schedule, monitoring progress against the project schedule and report deviations. Carry out necessary actions on progress problem to ensure that progress is back on track
  • Understands the technical content of equipment and engineering drawing
  • Manage and implement quality control to ensure complain with project requirement
  • Participate in site safety rules and ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific safety regulations

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or equivalent
  • Min 10 years of experience in in engineering and construction in oil and gas, petrochemical industry
  • Must have strong multi - discipline coordination skills and be able to plan work logically
  • Competent to manage and supervise the team in project type work (planning, scheduling, administration etc.),
  • Hardworking, proactive and possesses teamwork attitude with leadership and problem - solving skills
  • Good English communication skills
