Job description

Wood is recruiting for a Commissioning Manager with extensive EPC and petrochemical experience to manage and consult on all Commissioning activities for a PMC contract based in Turkey. This will be part of our Projects business unit.  
The role will be on a residential basis on a site near Adana, Turkey with an expected duration of 16 Months.  
The successful candidate needs to be available and ready to start in the country from the 1st October 2026. 


The preference would be for an individual with existing right to work in Turkey, however, for the right experience, expatriates who are willing to relocate to Turkey for the project duration will be considered.

The Role 


The Commissioning Manager will join the Wood PMC team on site, focused on delivering a large-scale complex petrochemical facility.  


As the Client's representative, you will lead all pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and performance testing activities, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant execution while maintaining alignment with project schedules, milestones and contractual requirements. 


Working closely with EPC contractors, construction teams and operations personnel, you will drive commissioning readiness, manage system completions and mechanical completion interfaces, resolve technical challenges and support seamless handover to operations. 


This is an excellent opportunity for a commissioning professional with significant EPC project experience, ideally gained within the petrochemical sector, with PMC experience preferred, and a proven track record of delivering successful project start-ups and handovers.
