Accountant

Our international logistics company** is currently recruiting an accountant** whose main responsibilities are as follows:

1. *Daily Financial Review and Reconciliation*

* Review and verify daily payment transactions and charges.

* Check accounts receivable and payable for accuracy.

* Clear and reconcile outstanding balances.

2. *Banking and Payment Management*

* Process bank transfers and online banking payments.

* Liaise and coordinate with banks on all bank related matters.

* Monitor company bank accounts and payment activity.

3. *Administrative and Operational Support*

* Process visa related applications and renewals.

* Manage employee accommodation arrangements and related expenses.

* Arrange to pay company utility bills including electricity, water, internet service and office rent.

* Coordinate and manage company vehicle management and related arrangements.

4. *Tax filing*

*VAT declaration.

* Corporate income tax return.

* Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Our company has its own integrated logistics management system, which includes a financial module. All accounting transactions, reconciliations and financial records are processed, maintained and verified through the system.

These are the four main areas of responsibility for current accounting positions.
