Role Purpose

The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to support digital transformation initiatives and technology projects. The role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions are aligned with business objectives, user needs, and operational requirements. The Business Analyst contributes to process optimization, solution design, and successful project delivery through effective stakeholder engagement and requirements management.


Key Responsibilities Requirements Analysis & Documentation
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements through stakeholder meetings, workshops, and system analysis.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure requirements are reviewed, validated, approved, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation using approved templates, tools, and repositories.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between business users, project teams, and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with solution designers, developers, project managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Support workshops, requirement review sessions, and project governance activities.
Business Process Analysis & Improvement
  • Document and analyze current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) business processes.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend process enhancements and digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Support business process optimization initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
Project Delivery & Quality Assurance
  • Participate in solution design reviews to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test case preparation, execution support, and defect validation.
  • Monitor requirement changes and assess their impact on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist project teams in managing risks, issues, and change requests.
Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of business analysis methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and benefit realization assessments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, business analysis techniques, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
  • 6–8 years of experience in Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, Technology, or Enterprise Projects.
  • Experience gathering and managing requirements for complex, multi-stakeholder systems.
  • Proven experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
  • Experience in government, education, technology, or large enterprise environments is an advantage.
Certifications (Preferred)
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
  • Agile Business Analyst Certification or equivalent
Technical Skills
  • Requirements Elicitation and Documentation
  • Business Process Modeling (BPMN)
  • User Story Mapping and Backlog Management
  • UML and Process Flow Diagramming
