Job description

The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager is responsible for leading the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of Keolis-MHI’s data visualization and reporting capabilities. Operating within the Business Strategy & Performance department, this role plays a pivotal part in supporting Keolis-MHI decision-making, operational visibility, and digital transformation. The BI Manager ensures that performance data is presented in a meaningful and accessible way, leveraging tools such as Power BI to create dashboards, trend reports, and predictive insights.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Strategic


  1. Develop and maintain a company-wide business intelligence strategy aligned with performance reporting, strategic objectives, and digital transformation goals.
  2. Design scalable BI dashboard structures to support long-term growth in performance data usage and complexity.
  3. Contribute to high-level decision-making by transforming raw performance data into strategic insights and visual narratives.
  4. Deliver structured Power BI training sessions to Keolis-MHI staff across departments to promote self-sufficiency in dashboard usage, support data-driven decision making, and build organizational capability in digital reporting tools.

Financial


  1. Lead value creation by enabling detailed performance monitoring, benchmarking, and cost-efficiency analysis through data visualization.
  2. Identify trends and anomalies in KPI data that impact contractual penalties or incentives and contribute to attribution-related analytics.

Stakeholder / Customer 


  1. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the Performance team and department heads, to design and deliver BI products that meet end-user needs.
  2. Ensure BI tools support RTA and Keolis-MHI reporting expectations and contribute to the preparation of regulatory dashboards.
  3. Present findings, visualizations, and recommendations to internal clients and stakeholders with clarity and impact.

Operational 


  1. Lead the design and development of dashboards in Power BI, ensuring that they are accurate, intuitive, and responsive to evolving business needs.
  2. Translate business questions into reporting logic, working closely with the Engineering Data team to validate and structure data sources.
  3. Maintain a library of standardized reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support ongoing performance tracking and strategic reviews.
  4. Support the automation and streamlining of manual reporting processes across the organization.

Capability / People 


  1. Build BI capability across departments by promoting performance data literacy and training end-users on dashboard functionality and insights.
  2. Act as a change agent for digital reporting maturity, encouraging a shift from Excel-based to dynamic, real-time data environments.

  1. Responsible for all digital visualization of performance data within the Business Strategy & Performance team.
  2. Primary owner of all Power BI dashboards, linked to both contractual KPIs and internal operational reporting.
  3. Key contributor to executive reporting, strategic reviews, and cross-departmental performance discussions.
  4. Interfacing regularly with Engineering Data, Performance, and IT teams to ensure platform alignment and data accessibility.
  5. Office environment. Occasional travel may be required.

Experience

  2. Power BI Expertise:
    • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models.
  3. Performance Management and Analysis:
    • Experience developing dashboards and reports for executive performance reviews and KPI tracking.
  4. Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Demonstrated ability to work across teams to define data requirements, align KPIs, and support decision-making.
  5. Digital Transformation:
    • Experience replacing manual processes with automated BI solutions.
  6. International experience
  1. Public transportation sector experience preferred.

Skills / Training


  1. Fluent in English.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
  3. Familiarity with data warehouse integration preferred.
