Electrician

Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance and Repairs:
   

   
   
   • Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, switches, circuits, and electrical panels.
     
   • Troubleshoot electrical problems, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure continuous system operation.
     
   • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and improve system reliability.
     

2. Safety and Compliance:
   

   
   
   • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on electrical systems to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
     
   • Stay up-to-date with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and standards in the UAE and ensure compliance in all electrical work.
     

3. Installation and Upgrades:
   

   
   
   • Assist in the installation of new electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment as required.
     
   • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to integrate electrical systems into overall building operations.
     

4. Documentation and Reporting:
   

   
   
   • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
     
   • Generate detailed reports on electrical system status, highlighting any issues, recommendations, or improvements needed.
     

5. Emergency Response:
   

   
   
   • Participate in emergency response teams to address electrical issues promptly and effectively.
     
   • Be available for on-call duty as necessary to address urgent electrical problems.
     

6. Collaboration:
   

   
   
   • Coordinate with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient facility operations.
     
   • Communicate effectively with team members and management to report progress and discuss potential issues.
     

7. Continuous Improvement:
   

   
   
   • Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and recommend upgrades or modifications to electrical systems.
     
   • Stay informed about new technologies, tools, and techniques in the electrical field to enhance work quality and efficiency.
     

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering 
  
• Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as an Electrician, preferably in a facility management or related environment.
  
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
  
• Should have min 2 years work experience in UAE - Facility/Maintenance IndustryStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
  
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
  
• Attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
