Job description

  • Study tender documents, project drawings, and specifications to understand project scope and client requirements.


  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery, furniture, and complete interior fit-out works (including civil, MEP, finishes).


  • Prepare and maintain BOQs, RFQs, and pricing comparisons for materials and subcontracted works.


  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and validate technical compliance.


  • Conduct site visits (when necessary) for measurement verification and site condition assessment.


  • Coordinate with the design and production teams to understand manufacturing constraints and incorporate accurate costs.


  • Analyze and evaluate project risks, value engineering options, and propose cost-effective alternatives.


  • Assist in tender submissions, commercial proposals, and final negotiations.


  • Maintain updated cost databases, price lists, and supplier information.



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field.


  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in estimation for interior fit-out and joinery (UAE experience preferred).


  • Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, manufacturing processes, and market prices.


  • Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, PlanSwift, or similar tools).


  • Good understanding of technical drawings and interior design documentation.


  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and numerical skills.


  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
