Job Brief:
An IT organization is seeking an experienced eStore L1 Support professional to manage and support production environment issues for its e-commerce platform. The role involves troubleshooting platform-related issues, analyzing logs, and ensuring the smooth functioning of existing e-commerce applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Hybris Commerce, excellent debugging skills, and experience supporting enterprise-level e-commerce environments, including integrations with ERP systems, payment gateways, and third-party solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing production environment issues on a day-to-day basis.
  • Troubleshoot Hybris Commerce platform issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Review and analyze system logs to identify root causes and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing e-commerce applications.
  • Resolve problems and roadblocks by consistently following through on issues while driving innovation and improvements.
  • Adapt and collaborate across functions and business areas to support operational requirements.
  • Support integrations involving ERP systems, payment gateways, and third-party platforms.
  • Work with Order Management Systems (OMS) and ensure smooth order processing workflows.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Support business operations during public holidays and weekends when required.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must be currently based in the UAE and able to join immediately or at short notice.
  • 4–6 years of experience in Hybris E-Commerce development and support platforms.
  • Strong experience supporting L1 e-commerce production environments.
  • Experience working with Order Management Systems (OMS) and payment gateway integrations.
  • Experience working with SAP ERP, AEM, 3PL, NERP, and other third-party integrations.
  • Experience with multi-channel architecture, data modelling, data exchange, and integrations in Hybris.
Technical Skills:
Excellent expertise in:
  • Hybris Commerce
  • Java / J2EE
  • Spring Framework
  • JavaScript
  • REST and SOAP APIs
Strong knowledge of Hybris modules such as:
  • PIM
  • WCMS
  • Cart
  • Checkout
  • Impex
  • Cron Jobs
  • Solr
Good understanding of:
  • B2B and B2C commerce flows and architecture
  • RESTful and SOAP web services
  • Debugging and analytics
Familiarity with tools such as:
  • Jira
  • Confluence
SAP Hybris Certification is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop solutions.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
