Via Medica in association with International SOS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join a highly regarded university in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to students, faculty, and staff while promoting a healthy and safe campus environment.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medicine (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
  • Valid DOH License as a General Practitioner (mandatory).
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in the UAE.
  • Previous experience in a school or university medical centre is highly preferred.
  • Experience in Medical Centers, Emergency, and/or Pediatric Departments is required.
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient management skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary healthcare services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care as required.
  • Promote preventive healthcare through health education and wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH regulations and clinical best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the health and wellbeing of the university community.
