Key Responsibilities


Regulatory Compliance and Qualifications


  • Ensure all instructor qualifications, approvals, and currency requirements are maintained in accordance with Approved Training Organisation (ATO) requirements before conducting training activities.


  • Exercise instructional privileges only when appropriately qualified and authorized.


  • Comply with all regulatory requirements, approved training programmes, and organizational policies and procedures during training delivery.


  • Perform Ground School Instructor duties in accordance with the applicable Policy and Procedures Manual.


Ground Training Delivery


  • Deliver ground training courses through classroom instruction, Simfinity platforms, Computer-Based Training (CBT), Instructor-Pilot Training (IPT), and stand-up lectures, as required.


  • Conduct training sessions in a professional, engaging, and learner-focused environment.


  • Facilitate aviation technical training in accordance with approved courseware and lesson plans.


  • Encourage trainee participation and support effective learning outcomes.


Course Administration and Training Support


  • Prepare and inspect classroom facilities, training equipment, documentation, and instructional resources prior to the commencement of training.


  • Maintain accurate training records and administrative documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.


  • Support examination activities, assessments, and knowledge evaluations.


  • Deliver remedial training and coaching where required to support trainee performance and competency development.


Courseware Development and Continuous Improvement


  • Review, maintain, and recommend updates to courseware, presentations, training materials, manuals, and associated documentation.


  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve course content, instructional effectiveness, and learner engagement.


  • Support curriculum enhancement initiatives and training programme development activities.


Additional Responsibilities


  • Support training operations and special projects as required.


  • Perform additional duties reasonably assigned in support of training objectives.



Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Ground School Instructor, Technical Instructor, Aviation Trainer, or Academic Instructor.


  • Previous experience within an Approved Training Organisation (ATO), aviation training centre, airline training department, aircraft manufacturer, or business aviation environment.
  • Experience developing aviation courseware, CBT content, or technical training materials.
  • Knowledge of competency-based training methodologies and modern aviation learning technologies.
  • Experience supporting examinations, assessments, and regulatory-approved training programmes.
