Position: HVAC Engineer
Location: Ajman
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong HVAC Engineer to oversee all Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems within Dusit Ajman Resort & Villas. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal comfort for guests and staff by maintaining efficient, reliable, and energy-effective HVAC operations across the property.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all HVAC operations across guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house facilities.
Oversee installation, maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.
Ensure optimal performance of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, and related systems.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and energy-saving initiatives.
Monitor system performance and ensure quick response to breakdowns and emergencies.
Supervise external contractors.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and hotel policies.
Manage HVAC spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement.
Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and energy consumption reports.
Support capital projects, system upgrades, and refurbishments.
Coordinate closely with other engineering disciplines and hotel departments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of HVAC experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, or large facilities.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and system optimization.
Experience in energy management and cost control is an advantage.
Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
