Our client is seeking an experienced Information
Security Manager (UAE National) oversees all operational information
security activities to ensure that security policies, procedures, and controls
are properly implemented, maintained, and enforced in accordance with
applicable regulatory obligations and recognized security standards. This role
maintains continuous monitoring of information systems, confidential data, and
organizational assets to protect them throughout the entire information
lifecycle. The Manager proactively identifies, evaluates, and mitigates
information security risks to uphold a strong security posture and works in
close coordination with the Director of Legal and Regulatory to ensure all
security initiatives align with organizational objectives, legal requirements,
and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
·Implement and maintain information security
policies, standards, and procedures aligned with leading practices and legal
compliance statutory and regulatory requirements for information access,
security, and privacy.
·Conduct institution-wide information security risk
assessments, vulnerability assessments, testing, and analysis, while preparing
relevant recommendations and management reports.
·Supervise the installation, modernization, and
configuration of security systems, programs, and hardware devices while
providing continuous technical support across the organization.
·Monitor networks, systems, and applications
constantly for vulnerabilities, intrusions, and emerging threats, while staying
abreast of the latest developments in the global threat landscape.
·Investigate suspected or actual security incidents
in accordance with established incident management standards, prepare detailed
incident reports, and ensure swift remedial action is taken.
·Serve as the official point of contact for
information security, privacy, and copyright-related incidents, handling all
critical coordination with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
·Execute planned compliance reviews and internal
security audits, carefully documenting findings and ensuring the timely
remediation of identified gaps and vulnerabilities.
·Report all security breaches, violations, and
complaints directly to senior management while deploying immediate mitigation
strategies and controls to reduce risk exposure.
·Deliver comprehensive information security
awareness, communication, and training programs across all departments to
strengthen the internal security and privacy culture.
·Contribute to the development and monitoring of the
department's annual budget to ensure planned expenditures align with technical
and financial project requirements.
·Evaluate team members' annual performance, conduct
periodic follow-ups on their progress, and provide structured guidance and
support to help them achieve operational goals.
·Develop and empower team members by actively
supporting talent development and Emiratization initiatives, ensuring
continuous capability growth among UAE citizen employees.
·A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science,
Computer Science, or Information Technology from an accredited university or
college.
·Professional certification in an information
security or systems control related field (such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or
equivalent) is highly preferred.;
·Nationality Requirement: Must be a UAE National (with a
valid Emirates ID and Family Book).
·A minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive
information security related experience.
·Proven experience in executing information security risk
assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response frameworks.
·Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements,
information privacy regulations, and standard industry security
architectures.
·Demonstrated capability in leading technical teams,
organizing security workloads, and driving nationalization initiatives within a
technology department.
