General Job Description:
Ensure the availability and quality of the services provided by the Information Technology Department related to software, hardware, databases, networks, systems, IT infrastructure support, and communication services for the center's departments and divisions.
Tasks:
·Assist the Head of the IT section in identifying the center’s IT needs and providing the necessary support, such as report design and data compatibility, to ensure effective performance.
·Contribute to the development of Information Technology policies and procedures related to security, Internet usage, email usage, backup systems, and technical support.
·Raise employees’ awareness of Information Technology policies and procedures and monitor employee compliance to avoid potential risks.
·Prepare the Information Technology development projects plan and supervise its implementation.
·Manage the center’s networks, servers, and computers, including maintenance, upgrades, and antivirus software.
·Configure printers and user accounts and assign access permissions in accordance with the established policies.
·Provide the necessary training on the use of the Information Technology systems utilized by the center.
·Assist in designing and implementing existing software to meet the center’s various operational requirements.
·Support the Head of the Information Technology Department in implementing information security requirements related to systems, networks, data protection, and access control measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
·Promote awareness of secure Information Technology practices among employees, including the proper use of email and the Internet, backup procedures, antivirus protection, and the secure handling of digital information.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Networking, or a related field from an accredited university. A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
At least 4 years of experience in the same field.
