Job description

Develops high-quality visual communications that strengthen the hospital’s brand, enhance patient and staff engagement, and support organisational strategic initiatives. Produces print and digital assets for marketing, clinical education, corporate communications, events, and internal campaigns, ensuring accuracy, compliance with brand guidelines, and alignment with healthcare standards. Collaborates with Marketing, Patient Experience, HR, Clinical Departments, and Executive Leadership to deliver timely, consistent, and compelling design solutions.



Responsibilities:

Branding, Creative Design & Visual Communication


  • Designs high-quality marketing and communication materials (posters, brochures, social media assets, banners, digital screens, event materials) consistent with hospital brand guidelines.
  • Develops creative concepts and visual content for strategic campaigns, patient education, internal communications, and corporate initiatives.
  • Maintains and enforces brand identity across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with hospital standards.

Stakeholder Coordination & Project Delivery


  • Works collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical departments to understand design needs and translate requirements into effective visual materials.
  • Ensures all design outputs meet timelines, quality specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., accuracy of medical information, patient privacy standards).
  • Supports hospital events, launches, conferences, and health awareness campaigns with creative materials and on-site visual coordination.

Digital Media, Content Production & Asset Management


  • Produces digital content for social media platforms, website, mobile screens, LED walls, and internal digital channels.
  • Edits photos, videos, animations, and infographics to support organisational communication and service promotion.
  • Manages digital assets, templates, and artwork archives, ensuring proper organisation, retrieval, and secure storage.

Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement


  • Ensures all designs comply with UAE healthcare communication standards, patient confidentiality requirements, and hospital brand governance.
  • Conducts regular quality checks on printed and digital materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and production quality.
  • Stays updated with design trends, software advancements, and best practices in healthcare communication and visual design.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Media Design, or related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant design experience, preferably in healthcare, corporate communications, or a high-volume design environment.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles, layout, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Knowledge of branding systems, corporate identity standards, and UAE healthcare communication norms.
  • Knowledge of print production processes, digital media formats, and multimedia workflows.
  • Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Skills in digital content creation, infographics, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
  • Skills in photo editing, video editing, and preparing files for print and digital distribution.
  • Ability to translate complex healthcare information into clear, engaging, and compliant visual materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, administrative departments, and leadership stakeholders
