Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to support technology and digital transformation initiatives within a banking environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing IT projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking delivery milestones, and ensuring successful execution of technology initiatives.
The role requires strong project coordination, stakeholder management, reporting, risk tracking, and delivery governance skills.
The candidate should be comfortable working with business teams, technology teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced banking environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage end-to-end delivery of technology projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Support project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting activities to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, RAID logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track project progress, identify risks, dependencies, issues, and proactively drive resolution.
• Facilitate project meetings, maintain action trackers, and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables.
• Support project governance activities including reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
• Work closely with technical teams, product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and operational teams.
• Support Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog tracking, and retrospectives where applicable.
• Prepare project dashboards, management updates, and executive-level reporting.
• Assist in change management activities and ensure effective communication throughout project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience: • 5–7 years of overall experience with minimum 3 years of hands-on project management experience.
• Experience managing IT/software delivery projects in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum and traditional project management methodologies.
• Strong experience in project planning, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and project timelines effectively.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams including business, technology, QA, infrastructure, and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of technology concepts including applications, integrations, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Strong documentation skills including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and requirement tracking.
Preferred Experience: • Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) environments.
• Exposure to digital banking, payments, core banking, lending, cards, or customer-facing technology initiatives.
• Experience working with enterprise applications and transformation programmes.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage.
