Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain robotic equipment, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee the storage and organization of laboratory equipment, tools, and consumables.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for consumables, ensuring timely restocking and procurement.
  • Plan and coordinate laboratory activities, including equipment usage schedules and projects support activities.
  • Implement and manage an asset booking system to ensure fair and efficient utilization of lab resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance logs, and consumable inventory.
  • Ensure the lab complies with safety regulations and standards, conducting regular inspections and safety drills.
  • Provide technical support to researchers and teams using robotic equipment and assist in training staff on equipment operation.
  • Develop and refine lab protocols to improve efficiency and resource management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and procure new equipment or upgrades to meet evolving research needs.
  • Interface with Contractors for execution of Facilities general maintenance activities, improvement, modifications or implementing custom set-up within the scope of specific projects or activities

Requirements
  • Experience: 4–6 years in a similar role, preferably in a lab setting with robotic or high-tech equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with the maintenance and operation of robotics technologies.
  • Technical background in electrical and electronics applied fields
  • Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with researchers, technicians, and external vendors.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools and technical documentation, including electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and best practices.
