Himalaya Steel is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have up to 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations, with strong coordination and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations.
Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet tight deadlines.
Good understanding of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
Experience using ERP or logistics management systems is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to negotiate with transporters, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to resolving logistics issues.
