About the job MEP T&C ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, coordinate, and execute testing and commissioning activities for all MEP systems.
  • Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems including LV/MV distribution, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, lighting, fire alarm, earthing, and ELV systems.
  • Perform testing and commissioning of mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and associated controls.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, commissioning procedures, and method statements.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities with contractors, consultants, clients, vendors, and authorities.
  • Conduct pre-commissioning, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and final commissioning.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning.
  • Ensure all systems comply with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Prepare and review commissioning plans, checklists, test reports, and handover documentation.
  • Ensure commissioning activities are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project quality requirements.

Key Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in MEP Testing & Commissioning.
  • Proven experience in commissioning both electrical and mechanical building systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, international codes, standards, and commissioning best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commissioning documentation processes.
