Job Summary:

Our Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Operations Manager to lead and oversee all catering operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, exceptional service delivery, efficient team management, client satisfaction, and strong financial performance across catering functions The successful candidate must possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality hospitality and catering services.



Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee daily catering and event operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
    • Manage food production, service standards, logistics, and overall event execution.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety regulations.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of food, beverages, and operational supplies.
    • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate catering staff including chefs, servers, supervisors, and event coordinators.
    • Develop staff schedules and manpower plans to ensure adequate coverage for all events and operations.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.
    • Foster a positive and professional work environment focused on teamwork, discipline, and customer service excellence.
    • Communicate with clients to understand event requirements, preferences, and expectations.
    • Coordinate menu planning, special requests, and event logistics with internal teams.
    • Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and business partners.
    • Assist in preparing operational budgets.
    • Monitor operational costs and ensure profitability targets are achieved.
    • Track expenses, revenues, and overall financial performance of catering operations.
    • Support invoicing, contract management, and payment collection processes.
    • Maintain accurate operational records, event schedules, and client databases.
    • Prepare operational reports and performance analysis for management review.
    • Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to grow catering business opportunities.
    • Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with potential clients.
    • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
    • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks across all operational areas.
    • Ensure continuous improvement in operational processes and service delivery.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or event operations management.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong financial and operational management experience.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management systems is an advantage.
