Job description

a) Supervises all painting personnel, including other supervisors for carrying out painting activities on onshore and offshore.
b) Planning, scheduling, organizing and training personnel and recommending applicants for employment or for discipline, termination or retention.
c) Coordinate with offshore project engineers in estimating manpower equipment, tools, and materials required to be mobilized for the project and non available equipment / Materials to be placed by purchase order.
d) Implement safety requirement before, during, and after blasting and painting works.
e) Daily Manpower Distribution to each Project and area and monitor their production.
f) Full knowledge to operate and repair blasting and painting equipments and tools.
g) Correct maintenance of all blasting and painting equipments and tools. Able to identify parts no. required in ordering replacement.

Qualifications:

• Good standard of written and spoken English
• All offshore safety training requirements 
• Must have a minimum 8 years experience in the field of offshore painting activities.
• Basic commercial awareness to understand the cost implications of raising work orders.
• Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices and techniques.
• Knowledge of the tools, equipment and materials common in the oilfield industry.
• Skills in the preparation and application of paints to different types of surfaces.
