We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Sharjah.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
The role requires expertise in pediatric perioperative care, pain management, resuscitation, and critical care while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments for pediatric patients.
Develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient age, medical history, and surgical requirements.
Administer general, regional, and sedation anesthesia for pediatric surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and ensure safe recovery from anesthesia.
Manage pediatric airway emergencies and provide advanced life support when required.
Deliver acute and chronic pain management services for pediatric patients.
Participate in neonatal and pediatric emergency resuscitation and trauma care.
Collaborate closely with pediatric surgeons, neonatologists, intensivists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide postoperative pain management and critical care support.
Educate patients' families regarding anesthesia procedures, potential risks, and postoperative care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and UAE healthcare regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, morbidity and mortality meetings, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Supervise junior physicians, anesthesia residents, and anesthesia technicians where applicable.
Participate in on-call and emergency duty rosters.
Qualifications MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
MD/DNB/Arab Board/CCT/American Board or equivalent qualification in Anesthesiology.
Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Pediatric Anesthesiology .
Valid MOH license, or eligibility for licensure, as applicable.
Minimum 5–8 years of post-specialty experience , including experience in pediatric anesthesia at a tertiary care hospital.

Experience providing anesthesia for neonatal surgery, pediatric cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and other complex pediatric procedures is an advantage.
