Job description

The Performance Analyst supports the delivery of accurate, consistent, and actionable performance data and analysis across all departments of Keolis-MHI. Reporting to the Performance Manager within the Business Strategy & Performance Department, this role plays a key part in tracking, validating, and interpreting operational, engineering, QHSE, and support function KPIs. The Performance Analyst ensures that performance data is timely, credible, and aligned with internal and external requirements, including client reporting, Keolis Group reporting and contractual obligations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Strategic


  1. Contribute to the implementation of company-wide performance frameworks and KPI methodologies.
  2. Support performance insight reporting to inform continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
  3. Monitor key performance trends and emerging data risks to support strategic and effective decision-making.
  4. Support the Business Intelligence team in deploying the Business Intelligence roadmap and strategy.

Financial


  1. Support the performance monitoring against KPIs tied to contractual penalties and incentives under the O&M Agreement.
  2. Ensure accuracy, transparency, and defensibility of all performance data submitted for attribution processes.

Stakeholder / Customer 


  1. Coordinate closely with department heads and data owners to ensure the accuracy of reported metrics.
  2. Respond to internal and client performance queries in coordination with the Performance Manager.
  3. Ensure timely preparation, validation, and submission of monthly performance reports in compliance with client and contractual expectations.

Operational 


  1. Support operational performance reporting, including punctuality, availability, service delivery, and operational compliance KPIs.
  2. Support the management of asset performance metrics in collaboration with Engineering & Maintenance, including asset availability, reliability, maintenance backlog, and system failures.
  3. Support the management of performance data for Support Functions.
  4. Collaborate with the BI Analyst to ensure accurate mapping of KPIs into Power BI dashboards.
  5. Contribute to the continuous enhancement of digital reporting tools.

Capability / People 


  1. Promote performance culture and awareness across functions.
  2. Support knowledge-sharing within the Performance team.

  2. Interfaces with up to 10 departments monthly for data consolidation and validation.
  3. Supports monthly attribution processes with the RTA.

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field
  1. Bachelor’s degree or formal training in performance management, data analytics, or transportation management.

Experience


  1. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in performance reporting, business analysis, or operational reporting.
  2. Performance Management and Analysis:
    • Proven experience delivering high-quality performance reports and coordinating KPI submissions.
    • Experience working with KPIs and performance metrics.
    • Familiarity with reporting platforms (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  3. Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Demonstrated ability to work across departments to align reporting processes and methodologies.
  4. Working collaboratively and cross-functionally with various business units:
    • Strong ability to work collaboratively with Operations, Engineering, HR, Finance, and QHSE teams to align performance with corporate strategy.
  5. International experience
  1. Public transportation sector experience preferred.

Skills / Training


  1. Fluent in English. 
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  3. Familiarity with Power BI and/or data reporting systems is preferred.
