Job Title – Public Relations Officer (PRO)

About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government-related processes, visa and immigration services, labor and licensing documentation, and regulatory compliance activities. The role is responsible for ensuring timely processing of official documentation, maintaining strong relationships with government authorities, and supporting the organization's administrative and legal compliance requirements.


Key Responsibilities Government Liaison & Public Relations
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and UAE government authorities.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with government departments and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the company in official meetings and government-related matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in UAE labor, immigration, and corporate regulations.
Visa & Immigration Services
  • Process employment visas, residence visas, visit visas, and Emirates ID applications.
  • Coordinate visa renewals, cancellations, and status changes for employees.
  • Ensure timely processing of immigration documentation and approvals.
  • Monitor visa expiry dates and maintain accurate employee records.
Labor & Licensing Administration
  • Handle all labor-related documentation, including work permits and labor contracts.
  • Process applications through the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) and other relevant authorities.
  • Coordinate company trade license renewals, amendments, and related approvals.
  • Ensure all company licenses and registrations remain valid and compliant.
Corporate Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare, submit, and track official documents required by government authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of licenses, permits, visas, and regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Support internal audits by providing regulatory documentation when required.
Employee Support Services
  • Assist employees with visa applications, renewals, medical appointments, and Emirates ID procedures.
  • Provide guidance on government procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding documentation related to government approvals.
  • Address employee queries regarding immigration and labor matters.
Administrative Coordination
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Administration departments on compliance-related activities.
  • Maintain document tracking systems and regulatory calendars.
  • Prepare periodic reports on visa status, license renewals, and government transactions.
  • Support administrative projects and operational requirements as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures, company formation, and government regulations.
  • Experience dealing with MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, Dubai Economy, and other UAE government entities is highly preferred.
  • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
