Retail Stores Project Engineer - Projects & Store Design - Dubai

Are you passionate about delivering projects within luxury retail environments? We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team and support the successful execution of projects across luxury, lifestyle, beauty, and home retail concepts.

In this role, you will work closely with Senior Project Managers and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, design, and safety.

What you’ll be doing

• Implement project programmes on site in an organised, cost-effective, and timely manner

  
  

• Coordinate procurement schedules and ensure materials are sourced efficiently while maintaining quality standards

  
  

• Liaise with architects, principals, mall management, consultants, contractors, and clients to obtain approvals and ensure smooth project execution

  
  

• Manage contractors on site, monitor progress, and provide regular updates on project milestones and challenges

  
  

• Resolve technical and engineering issues, manage design changes, and ensure adherence to approved plans

  
  

• Conduct quality inspections and coordinate with internal teams regarding variations, progress billing, and final invoicing

  
  

• Oversee project handovers, including as-built drawings, operating manuals, completion certificates, and close-out procedures

  
  

• Ensure health & safety requirements are fully implemented and maintained across project sites

  
  

• Keep detailed project records, including progress updates and photographic documentation

  
  

We're looking for someonw with:

• Experience managing retail stores, construction, fit-out projects from planning through completion within Mall, experience ideally in GCC region.

  
  

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple parties and projects simultaneously

  
  

• Knowledge of procurement, project execution, contractor management, and quality control processes

  
  

• Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance standards

  
  

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage technical challenges in a fast-paced environment

  
  

• Excellent communication, organisation, and project coordination skills

  
  

• Ability to work under tight timelines while maintaining high standards of delivery

  
  

• Holding a valid UAE Driving license is essential. 

  
  

• Expert using MS Office excel, MS projects and AutoCAD. Any other software knowledge is added advantage. 

  
  

• Open to GCC travel
