Job Summary
Responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and supporting scaffolding activities in offshore Oil & Gas plant environments to ensure safe erection, modification, dismantling, and compliance with approved specifications and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of erected scaffolding to ensure structural stability, safety, and compliance with site requirements.

Perform pre-use and post-modification inspections of scaffolding systems.

Identify unsafe conditions, hazards, and non-compliance issues, and initiate corrective actions.

Issue and maintain scaffolding tags and inspection certificates as per site procedures.

Support scaffolding erection and dismantling activities to ensure safe working practices.

Provide basic scaffold design inputs, calculations, and drawings for complex scaffold requirements.

Ensure compliance with HSEMS policies and Oil & Gas safety standards in live operating plant environments.

Coordinate with site teams and supervisors for safe scaffolding operations.
Qualification Requirements

Technical Diploma (minimum 3 years) or equivalent qualification.

Valid Scaffolding Inspector Training Certificate.

Knowledge of scaffolding design and calculations.
Experience Requirements

Minimum 10 years of relevant practical experience in scaffolding activities.

Experience in Oil & Gas live operating plant environments is mandatory.

Gulf/Offshore experience will be an added advantage.
Skills Required

Strong knowledge of different scaffold types and scaffolding safety standards.

Hands-on experience in scaffold erection and dismantling activities.

Ability to ensure scaffolding compliance in live Oil & Gas plants.

Basic understanding of scaffold design interpretation and calculations.

Fair spoken and written English communication skills for reporting and coordination.
