About the job SENIOR ARCHITECT

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the architectural design and coordination of residential and mixed-use development projects from concept through project completion.
  • Manage the design development process, ensuring alignment with project objectives, quality standards, budget, and schedule.
  • Coordinate with master planning, structural, MEP, landscape, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Review and approve architectural drawings, design packages, material selections, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, planning regulations, authority requirements, and industry standards.
  • Manage and coordinate external architects, design consultants, and technical specialists throughout all project phases.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to optimize functionality, constructability, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
  • Support value engineering initiatives while maintaining the project's design intent and quality.
  • Monitor project progress during construction, conduct site inspections, and resolve architectural design issues.
  • Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, requests for information (RFIs), and material approvals.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and provide regular project updates to senior management.
  • Mentor junior architects and support the development of the architectural team.
  • Ensure successful project handover by supporting inspections, snagging, and closeout activities.

Key Qualification


  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum of 10 years of architectural experience, with significant experience in residential and mixed-use development projects within a real estate development environment.
  • Proven experience delivering projects from concept design through construction and final handover.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building systems, construction methodologies, and building regulations.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and managing design teams.
  • Strong understanding of authority approval processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with sustainable design principles and value engineering is an advantage.
  • Professional architectural registration or membership in a recognized professional body is considered an advantage.
