Qualification (minimum)
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience (minimum)
* Minimum 10 years relevant experience as an engineer in the same dicipline.
* 5 years in operation within the Oil & Gas industry at a supervisory level.
Job Description & Responsibilities
* Providing cost effective, timely and efficient support, while ensuring the safety and in accordance
with Company's policies and procedures.
* To prepare bidding documents, evaluate bids, carry out clarifications, conduct meetings,
review civil engineering / architectural designs and engineering drawings, supervise civil
construction works, carry out checks of construction work before acceptance and other
related activities in civil engineering works (but not limited to) of future and ongoing
projects
* To assess existing facilities remaining lifetime through the confirmation of existing system
operational risks.
* Assist the Group Head in implementing project plans, schedules and supervise and coordinate the project
execution in efficient and effective manner.
* Provide effective leadership in building the project team of engineering – setting individual objectives,
managing performance, developing, motivating staff – in order to maximise subordinate and departmental
performance.
* Prepare bidding documents, participate in tender evaluations, kick off meetings, and clarify issues
pertaining to tendering process with Contractors.
* Conduct regular project review meetings with Contractors to discuss and resolve any technical issues as
and when required to ensure completion of contracts in a safe and professional manner.
* Prepare periodical and progress reports to keep management informed about the progress of various
initiatives and to facilitate decision making.

Additional requirements
* Excellent understanding of civil engineering principles.
* Strong knowledge and experience in the application of process operation systems and technology in Oil &
Gas sector.
