About the job SENIOR MEP MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage all MEP activities throughout the lifecycle of residential and mixed-use development projects.
  • Oversee the planning, design coordination, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, structural teams, contractors, and authorities to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review and approve MEP designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure all MEP works comply with project requirements, applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and technical issues.
  • Manage MEP contractors and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor performance and resolve technical challenges.
  • Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project performance and reduce costs without compromising quality.
  • Ensure successful testing, commissioning, and final handover of all MEP systems.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, technical updates, and project performance metrics to senior management.
  • Mentor and develop engineering teams, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 14 years of experience in MEP management, with significant experience in residential and mixed-use development projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale development projects from design through construction and handover.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, ELV, and building management systems.
  • Excellent understanding of international engineering standards, local regulations, and authority requirements.
  • Strong project management, planning, budgeting, and contract administration skills.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in reviewing engineering designs, technical documentation, and construction methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM coordination is an advantage.
  • Professional engineering registration or relevant certifications are considered an advantage.
