Senior S3D Tool Administrator

We are currently seeking a Senior S3D tool administrator, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

Job purpose:

Primarily concerned with S3D Installation Setup / Customization / Management / Training etc.,

Reporting lines and interactions:

Hierarchically reports to: ADPES HOD

Operationally reports to: Project Engineering Manager / IM Manager

Directly supervises: -

Key interactions (internally, externally):

• All SP Tool Administrators / Discipline Leads involved in an FEED/EPC project / Doc. Contr. / IM Manager

• Client

Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):

Work as S3D administrator in FEED/EPC projects

Typical background and experience required:

Must have:

• Engineering degree

• Experience in S3D Administration & Customization

• Experience in customizing S3D using Dot Net Programming ( VB, c# )

• Knowledge of Engineering data flow in a multi-discipline FEED / EPC Project.

• FEED / EPC Work experience in similar role – 13 to 16 years

• Knowledge on

o Pipe Support Customization – Visual Studio

o Symbol Customization – Visual Studio

o Drawing / Report / Label customization

o Working with Smartplant Foundation – Retrieve/correlate/publish

Nice to have:

• Management

• Experience in Oil and Gas Business

• Knowledge of Smart P&ID and other Engineering Tools

• AVEVA E3D

Main Accountabilities:

The S3D Administrator is in charge of:

· Installation of S3D Application Server & Client

· Create / Customize / Administer the S3D Site/Plant/Catalog

· Configuring Batch Server, Name Generator, IFC server & clash rules, Rule checker service etc.,

· Configure Global Works share / Citrix setup for S3D

· Multi-discipline Catalog creation, symbol customization, Custom Name Rules

· S3D multi-discipline Support Library customization using Visual Studio

· Deliverable customizations (multidiscipline layout drawings, iso & custom reports)

· Multi-Discipline S3D User Support & Training

· Support setup of SPF Integrated Environment as per project requirement

· Prepare the required project procedures based on Client/Project requirement

· Creation of PBS as per SPF or client requirement, defining and creating discipline wise hierarchy to suit project and Client requirement

· All Customizations and Configurations required for S3D

· Publish & Retrieve to and from the S3D/SPID & SPF

· Support to users in Publishing from S3D & Retrieving into S3D

· Support to user in Correlation issues

· Prepare 3D Model review dataset & Take part in Client Review Meetings

· Interface with IT / Hexagon for all S3D related issues

· Handle COMPANY Audits and Data handover to Client.
