Job Purpose

Lead and manage the RTA’s data governance and digital data infrastructure efforts to ensure high quality, accessible, and optimally utilized corporate data. Oversee the development of smart and interactive platforms that strengthen decision-making and improve the effectiveness of data use across various functions. Integrate big data with artificial intelligence applications and business analytics to generate proactive, accurate insights. Ensure compliance with national data policies, promote data exchange with external partners, and contribute to building a strong data-driven culture that supports innovation and institutional excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and governance of RTA’s corporate data repository, ensuring alignment with approved policies, legislation, and data standards.

  
  

• Manage the implementation of a comprehensive data governance roadmap in coordination with internal entities and in alignment with national and local policies.

  
  

• Oversee the development of the big data platform to enable deep analysis and provide strong insights that support decision-making.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with national data policies and support secure, effective data exchange with external partners.

  
  

• Ensure proactive updates to data requirements needed for retraining smart models or introducing new variables in coordination with AI teams.

  
  

• Oversee the provision and integration of required data for AI use cases and smart dashboards within the big data platform.

  
  

• Oversee support for data needs across all AI use cases, ensuring sustained availability and accessibility of essential data on the unified platform.

  
  

• Oversee the design of enterprise databases and data models to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable storage, processing, and access.

  
  

• Ensure Identify data sources and manage the development of reference data warehouses to support analytical and operational needs.

  
  

• Oversee Establish continuous improvement processes to enhance data accuracy, utilization, and platform effectiveness.

  
  

• Ensure Strengthen mechanisms that optimize data quality and streamline data management workflows in collaboration with operational entities.

  
  

• Manage the development of interactive and intelligent data platforms that support business intelligence and offer accurate, user-friendly tools for decision-makers.

  
  

• Oversee the operation and development of big data platforms and smart dashboards, including data linking, classification, and integration across RTA’s sectors.

  
  

• Ensure data quality improvement across platforms by establishing periodic mechanisms with operational entities to enhance accuracy and optimize usage.

  
  

• Ensure coordination with the Dubai Digital Authority and third parties to provide and update datasets under data exchange agreements.

  
  

•  Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science, data science• 11 years of relevant experience
