System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and peak performance of our organization's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities: 

Daily system administration and maintenance. Manage services hosted by IT department, understanding and making sure all systems are aligned with infosec.

Infrastructure & Server Management

• Maintain server health.
• Monitor system performance.
• Allocate storage resources.
• Configure cloud infrastructure.
• Manage virtualization platforms.

Security & Access Control

• Provision user accounts.
• Enforce password policies.
• Apply security patches.
• Manage firewall rules.
• Conduct access audits.

Data Protection & Recovery

• Schedule daily backups.
• Verify data integrity.
• Maintain backup hardware.
• Test recovery procedures.
• Update documentation.

Support & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot system errors.
• Upgrade hardware components.
• License software packages.
• Resolve escalated tickets.
• Minimize system downtime.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Understanding Virtualization and containerization, network, OS (Windows, Linux, MACOS), IT hardware troubleshooting and SDLC.
• Experience with Backup and recovery, hands-on experience with Enterprise asset management like Endpoint central, JAMF, Airwatch, Landscape. Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, MFA / SSO. Server hosting for NVR and Access Controls.
