MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To ensure continued airworthiness and provide technical support to maintain the reliability, safety, and performance of the aircraft in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides continued airworthiness and technical support across airframe systems, avionics, structures, interiors, engines, and components to address operational engineering issues.
  • Reviews and actions emergency Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), fleetwide inspections, and away-from-base Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events to ensure airworthiness compliance.
  • Monitors the Engineering Daily Technical Status to assess maintenance operations, technical delays, deferred defects, and operational restrictions affecting the flydubai fleet.
  • Evaluates and tracks aircraft defects using Aircraft Health Monitoring (AHM) and AMOS systems to ensure proper troubleshooting, rectification, and follow-up on repetitive defects.
  • Interprets technical documentation including ADs, SBs, Component Service Bulletins (CSBs), and other regulatory or manufacturer publications to determine required actions.
  • Liaises with internal departments and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to resolve engineering issues and ensure the availability of approved data for aircraft release.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Engineering or ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (B2 or B1) or Engineering Apprenticeship
  • Fluent in English
  • Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years
