micro1 is selecting AI Data Annotation Experts to contribute to a client-driven project focused on improving AI systems through meticulous video data labeling and annotation. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Review short video clips to identify and categorize recurring events according to provided guidelines.
2. Precisely annotate each recognized event, capturing accurate timestamps for every occurrence.
3. Craft clear, concise, and consistent written descriptions for all annotated events.
4. Utilize attention to detail and data labeling accuracy to ensure high-quality, reliable annotations.
5. Apply annotation protocols rigorously to maintain consistency and integrity of the labeled data.
6. Engage collaboratively with project leads and fellow contributors to address questions and feedback.
7. Submit regular deliverables aligned with project milestones and expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Proven experience with video annotation or similar data labeling activities.
2. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data quality.
3. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret guidelines and apply them thoroughly.
4. Excellent written and verbal English proficiency for clear annotation descriptions and communication.
5. Experience participating in AI training or data-centric projects is advantageous.
6. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within distributed teams or remote projects.
7. Comfort working independently and adapting to evolving annotation criteria or feedback.
