PURPOSEThe Disposals Analyst – WIL is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of materials and inventory disposal activities within the Global Solutions framework.
The role delivers high‑volume, rule‑based disposal activities in accordance with approved processes, systems and decision boundaries. This includes identifying disposal candidates, coordinating disposal workflows, executing system transactions, and maintaining accurate disposal records. The role operates in an execution capacity only, escalating non‑standard, high‑risk or judgement‑based matters to Global Excellence or nominated stakeholders as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES· Execute day‑to‑day materials and inventory disposal activities in line with approved disposal processes and workflows.
· Identify disposal candidates in accordance with approved criteria (e.g. obsolete, surplus, damaged or expired materials).
· Coordinate disposal activities with Warehousing, Logistics, Procurement and approved disposal service providers.
· Execute accurate and timely SAP transactions to support disposal activities, ensuring correct material status, valuation, and traceability.
· Maintain disposal documentation, records and evidence in line with audit and assurance requirements.
· Ensure inventory records accurately reflect disposal decisions and physical movements.
· Support reconciliation of disposed materials to ensure alignment between physical stock and system records.
· Maintain disposal registers, trackers and supporting data to enable reporting and audit readiness.
· Identify data quality issues or systemic disposal process gaps and escalate for resolution.
· Execute disposal activities in compliance with statutory, regulatory and HSEQ requirements.
· Apply approved handling, storage, segregation and transportation requirements for disposal materials.
· Identify and escalate safety, environmental or compliance risks outside defined controls or role authority.
· Liaise with Inventory, Materials, Warehousing and Logistics teams to plan and execute disposal activities.
· Engage with approved vendors and service providers to coordinate collection, transport and disposal activities within scope.
· Act as a point of contact for routine disposal queries within defined role authority.
· Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance disposal efficiency, accuracy, and cycle time.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCEEducation & Qualifications - No formal qualification is required, however a degree in Commerce re alike is desirable.
Technical Skills / Experience· Experience in materials management, inventory, logistics or disposal‑related roles within an operational environment.
· Working knowledge of disposal processes, inventory lifecycle management and warehouse operations.
· Experience using SAP ERP (MM) or similar systems for materials and inventory transactions.
· Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
· Ability to work within defined processes, controls and escalation pathways.
· Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
· Understanding of HSEQ considerations related to materials disposal (desirable).
· Qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant experience (desirable).
